Cold Compression Therapy (CCT) can be prescribed by your physician for a number of reasons. Some benefits of this treatment include decreased:

Cold therapy reduces pain in soft tissue areas by creating a numbing effect. This effect helps your body control swelling by slowing down the bodies inflammatory response.
Compression therapy assists the body in pushing fluids away from the injured area while increasing blood flow and oxygen delivery to the injured area. This also stimulates tissue repair and speeds up the natural healing process.
CCT will help you get back to your daily activities much faster than someone who was healing without it.

What to Expect
As a Patient...
Your physician has prescribed Cold Compression Therapy to speed up your recovery. Upon delivery of the prescription to our office, one of our professional team members will deliver your unit and walk you through the very simple process, while making you feel comfortable with your new CCT unit.
Your fitting will take approximately one hour or less depending on how comfortable you are with the machine and instructions for treatment.
We understand how frustrating recovery can be so our goal is to get you back to your normal activities as fast as possible!
CCT will continue to provide support to you during your recovery and rental period to ensure that you are satisfied.
If you should need assistance with your CCT equipment during your recovery, please call the CCT representative on the back of this brochure.
As a Physician
When you prescribe cold compression therapy through CCT Medical Supplies your patients will be up and running within 48 hours of insurance company approval.
One of our representatives will deliver a unit and provide a fitting. This will take approximately one hour or less depending on how comfortable they are with the machine and instructions for treatment.
Our goal is to get your patient back to their normal activities as quickly as possible!
CCT will provide support to the client during their recovery and rental period to ensure they are satisfied during their recovery.
Lastly, we understand how issues with compliance can be frustrating, that’s why we offer units that have the ability to check client use. We download the client’s use summary from the unit to let you know how often the machine was used.
